First Bahama Beach Skydiving Event Taking Place in West End, Grand Bahama February 2-12th

A group of some sixty (60) licensed skydivers and aviation enthusiasts are at the Old Bahama Bay in Grand Bahama this week for its first Bahama Beach Skydiving Event.  The historic event, which features skydivers jumping from parachutes amid 14,000 feet, takes place daily between 10 am and 5 pm, February 2-12, from the West End International Airport.

Bahamasair Partner With Bahamas Tourism Houston To Make Big Waves In Texas

A group including marketing and sales executives of Bahamasair recently visited Texas and teamed up with the local staff of The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Houston. The collective group conducted a series of successful marketing events, as a part of continuing efforts to promote the recently launched Bahamasair direct Houston/Nassau service out of Houston's Intercontinental George Bush Airport (IAH).

The Ministry of Tourism and Aviation is looking to place emphasis on product development in 2018, according to Director General of Tourism Joy Jibrilu.

While speaking at the Bahamas Business Outlook 2018 under the theme “Creating a World-Class Bahamas” Ms. Jibrilu said improvements to the Bahamian tourism product is vital.
